About our team

In September 2013, Lesc SC  was founded as a women’s soccer franchise for purposes of joining the Women’s Premier Soccer League (“UWS”). The UWS is a national Semi-Pro league with over seventy teams across the nation, making it the largest women’s soccer league in the world, and the leading soccer league in the United States.q serves as a stepping stone for elite and aspiring professional and international-level players. Many former and current U.S. National and International Team players have played on UWS teams including: Although we are a new organization, the Lesc  consists of a very talented core of experienced and skilled players who have competed in the UWS  for several years. Our players range in age from 16 years to up to 30+, and include current college, post-college, and international players. With both veterans and young talent, it is our hope that the Lesc  will become a verifiable force to be reckoned with in the emergent world of women’s soccer. Also Lesc has currently partnership with Washington spirirt reserve team and at least 5 Spirit reserve players will be able to play with Lesc during UWS summer league. 

Our Mission Statement

The Lesc  is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the development of women’s soccer in the DMV areas. In addition to establishing ourselves as a top contender in the UWS, our primary objective is to provide an opportunity for local girls to grow and develop into talented and dynamic athletes and to equip them with the necessary tools to excel in both soccer and life. By establishing a strong and dependable foundation, we will help our young athletes obtain scholarships and find placements at the top colleges and universities across the country, while providing our more experienced athletes with a highly competitive environment where they can continue to flourish and advance the sport of women’s soccer.
